Introduction
According to the Land Revenue act of 1957 of Pakistan Tehsildar is the land revenue officer appointed by the Board of Revenue of the respective Province and he has the major administrative role in a particular tehsil . Understanding the role of Naib Tehsildar
Tehsildar has a very important role in the administration setup of a province. He is like the king of that particular circle (here circle is a piece of land that is demarcated by the government for the better management of the province) .Some of the major responsibilities and duties of him are given below :

Qualification Required for Naib Tehsildar
The person who wants to be a Naib tehsildar in the government of Punjab must have following qualifications to be eligible to apply for the post of Tehsildar or Revenue officer.
- He/She must have a domicile of Punjab Province.
- Must have a second class graduation degree in any field from a recognized university.
- He must not be older than 30 years of age.
These are general qualifications required for the above mentioned post. In addition to the above qualifications there are some extra qualities that will give an extra edge to the candidate like leadership skill, communication skill , administrative skill and stress management.

In the recent advertisement in PPSC for the post here are the papers and their syllabus. There will be Two major papers that will be taken by the PPSC for the respective posts.
- English composition ( Includes english precis, comprehension, direct indirect , active passive , translation and paragraph writing.
- One paper mcqs exam for GK( like General paper for ppsc exams )
This is the syllabus for the post and the candidate has to pass all these papers and should make an aggregate of minimum 60%.
